Peacefully at Meadowbeck Care Home, York on Sunday, March 17th, aged 83 years.

Beloved wife to Bill, much loved mum to Susan and Jane.

Funeral Service to be held at York Crematorium on Wednesday, April 10th at 11.40am.

Family flowers only please. Donations can be made in Christine's memory to RNIB.

I was saddened to read my teacher Mrs Britten has passed She taught me maths in late 70s and was very helpful and patient. I can still hear Miss Miss Miss from kids in my class wanting her attention Sleep well ‘Miss’

Sad day for Mrs Britton’s family. She taught me maths in the late seventies and have never forgotten her Rest in Peace Miss !

The fondest childhood memories of our most gorgeous Auntie Christine. Always remembered affectionately and with a big smile of all the fun we had at sleepovers and many years camping in Cornwall. Sleep well Auntie Chris, love always Debs Charnock
