GeorgeBUCHANANWe were lucky to have George, Dad, Gaga Bluey for 86 amazing years which we will cherish forever. After battling with various health complications for the past few years we sadly lost him on 20th January 2024. He passed away peacefully in hospital with his son Phil by his side. We will be laying George to rest on 13th of February at Christ Church Bootle at 1:30pm followed by burial at Bootle Cemetery.
We will be celebrating George’s life at the Mel Inn (Hawthorne Rd, Bootle) after the funeral for those who wish to come along.

As we say goodbye to January,
A month that leaves us feeling blue,
But this has to be the worst one so far,
The last month I got to spend with you.

Battle after battle you fought,
Never once stopping to complain,
Always putting everyone before yourself,
From us you’d hide the pain.

All my best memories are ones with you,
The ones that hurt the most,
Full of taxi rides and laughter,
And the traditional Sunday roast.

But now we say our final goodbyes,
February 13th we lay you to rest,
And those who knew you will raise a glass,
To George, my Gaga Bluey, simply the best.
