KennethWILSONIt is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Kenneth on Saturday, April 6 aged 90 years, at Woodlands Nursing Home. Devoted husband of the late Shirley, treasured father to Angela, Annette, and Carol. Father-in-law to Martin and Mick. Grandad to James, Thomas, Charlotte, Martin, Siobhán, Emma and Niamh and a great-grandad to Daniils, Isabel, Polina, FrankieRose, Finley, Abigail, Alexander, Sebastian, and Elijah. He also leaves his dear sister Jean. Kenneth was born in Clayton-le-Moors and started his working life as a slater for Evans and then joined the textile industry for the rest of his career. Kenneth enjoyed watching sport on TV especially football, cricket and snooker. He was a lifelong Blackburn Rovers fan, and he loved his holidays, especially cruises with his late wife. The funeral service will take place on Thursday, May 2 at Accrington Crematorium at 12.20pm. The family have requested family flowers only, donations are being received to the Alzheimer’s Society.
