You were the soundtrack to my life, from university to work to having children. The big show was on during the birth of my daughter. I feel like I've lost a good friend. I hope you knew how important you were to so many.

Thank you Steve, you got me through training to be a Nurse 1983-1986, loved your shows on Radio 1-Radio 2.
