A dancing queen she was, still seventeen at heart,
She, her red lipstick and dancing shoes were never far apart.
A golden soul set free,
Dancing and playing bingo with loved ones in heaven I guarantee.

She was one in a million, truly unique,
We cried with laughter every time she would speak.
She lived her life for all of us, we never will forget,
She lives on in our memories, for all those that she met.

Although our hearts are breaking, we cherish the time we had,
For a life without our Mary, would have been truly sad.
Everyone has a Mary story, including you and me,
So tell it for the years to come and forever she will be.

Mary - how lucky was I to spend my childhood with you. You were the most generous and fun Aunty anyone could ever have, and I will never forget the night you dressed up as "Avaline" for me!
